HV29:  William Vaughan House {Ancestor}

HV-320x240x300dpi_29-William-Vaughan-House

"This house in Portland (Maine) was built in 1799 by William Vaughan, my 4th great-grandfather.  Vaughan was a lawyer and real estate speculator who developed the whole Western Promenade and Maine Health areas and also built the first bridge across the Fore River.

The image used for printing is from a high-resolution scan of the original oil painting that I created on a 11" x 14"  linen-covered wooden panel in 2024."   -- Henry Vaughan
