HV27: Ithaca Falls in Autumn
"Both my wife and I graduated from Cornell University in Upstate New York and we later moved back to Ithaca about ten years later when I accepted the job as the University's Director of Management Systems and Analysis. Although none of my family currently live in Ithaca, I decided to paint this picture derived from several photographs so I could send printed canvases to my grown children now living far away.
The image used for printing is from a high-resolution scan of the original oil painting that I created on a 12" x 16" linen-covered wooden panel in 2024." -- Henry Vaughan
