HV16-19: Our Town (The Seasons & Cycle of Life)
"This is the digitally-combined image of the entire assembled quadtych that was inspired by Thornton Wilder's play, 'Our Town'. The panels of the quadtych were purposely painted in a slightly more "primitive" artistic style so that the viewer 's eye would not be distracted by too many details. Because of the unusual proportions of the quadtych, only a few products are available.
Each "panel" in the combined image represents a different season as well as a diffrent and corresponding phase in the Cycle of Life:
-- The first image represents 'Spring' and the phase of 'Childhood'.
-- The second image represents 'Summer' and the phase of 'Courtship'.
-- The third image represents 'Fall' and the phase of 'Adulthood'.
-- The last image represents 'Winter' and the phase of 'Reflection, Death, & Hope'.
The image used for printing was made by digitally combining together the separate images made from high-resolution scans of each of the four original oil paintings that I created on a 12" x 16" linen-covered wooden panel in 2023." -- Henry Vaughan

Images of each of the four individual paintings are also available separately as shown on my 'Portfolio' webpage. Another way to assemble the quadtych would be to purchase an 'Unframed Canvas' Art Print or 'Framed Poster' of each of the four paintings and hang them touching side-by-side. Doing it that way could produce a very large quadtych as big as 32 inches (80 cm) high by 8 feet (240 cm) wide.
