HV15: A Seaside Cottage
"In late 2022 after experiencing too much flexibility when painting on the surface of stretched canvas, I switched to a more rigid painting surface. This painting of a mythical Maine seaside cottage was my first painting done on a wooden panel with a pre-glued linen fabric surface. Because this non-flexible surface allowed me to more easily paint fine details, I now use them for all of my paintings.
The image used for printing is from a high-resolution scan of the original oil painting that I created on a 12" x 16" linen-covered wooden panel in 2022." -- Henry Vaughan
