HV50: Lands End At Baileys Island
"As the glaciers melted long ago, the rising seas partially-drowned Maine seacoast leaving its scenic ridged peninsulas, numerous islands, and tranquil inlets. Some of these islands are connected by causeways and bridges to the mainland. In mid-coast Maine, State Highway 24 runs south from Brunswick to connect to Great Island which connects to Orrs Island, which connects to Baileys Island and then ends at what is called 'Lands End'."
The image used for printing is from a high-resolution scan of the original oil painting that I created on a 12" x 16" linen-covered wooden panel in 2026." -- Henry Vaughan
