HV14: Yellow House Above Marsh
"An old yellow colonial house in the southern outskirts of Freeport (Maine) overlooks some small coastal marshes. This paintings combined elements from various photographs that I took in the area. The difficulties that I had in attempting to paint the details of the house also convinced me that I needed to switch from using flexible stretched canvas to a more rigid painting surface.
The image used for printing is from a high-resolution scan of the original oil painting that I created on a 11" x 14" stretched canvas in 2022." -- Henry Vaughan
